The menu selections are impressive for a restaurant in a major city, so to find a menu like this in a small rural Midwest town is a pleasant surprise indeed. The salad bar was stocked full of fresh vegetables, and had a suitable variety. Salad plates are kept refrigerated, another pleasantry which I hardly ever see. Adult beverage selection was impressive, but even more impressive was a thoughtful selection of mock-tails. Our entrees were well prepared with suitable portions. This is obviously a scratch kitchen, which is reflected in the quality of the cuisine. ”

“ We asked the front desk receptionist at the hotel we were staying at for dinner recommendations. She gave the standard chain restaurant names. We told her we were looking for some local restaurant gem. She said there is a newer restaurant that her friends were talking about, but she hasn't tried yet. Thankfully we decided to give it a chance. Our server Elli was great. Very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was large enough for the table and had great flavor. The portion size and taste of our entrees was second to none. I don't know why they had salt and pepper on the table. Everything was seasoned perfectly. She asked if we wanted desert, but didn't have any room left. This is definitely a restaurant we will revisit next time we are in town. Highly recommend. Last suggestion is to make reservations online. ”

“ This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Midwest. During our dining experience We decided to order their seafood entrees and the salad bar. The salad bar was so amazing that we ended up taking the majority of our food home that we ordered from the menu. I travel all across the nation, and by far this is the most amazing restaurant that I visited in the Midwest. Everyone should definitely try this place at least once in their lifetime. The service was excellent. Everyone was very professional and pleasant from the time we walked into the door until we left the building. We are looking forward to visiting Sweetwater chophouse at least once a month. It’s worth traveling the distance and entering to the state of Ohio. Outstanding experience! ”
